Air Source Heat Pump Commissioning
It is strongly advised that all Air Source Heat Pumps are commissioned by our Service department by experienced Strebel service engineers. This ensures that your ASHP will be set up both safely and optimally for maximum efficiency and that the operational settings will be matched to the offer best performance.
Warranty Requires Strebel Commissioning
On our S-ASX range of Air Source Heat Pumps we offer 2 years parts and labour warranty for all units that are commissioned by Strebel engineers, and that have been installed in accordance with the Warranty Conditions (see our Air Source Heat Pump Warranties). If the ASHP isn’t commissioned by one of our engineers, this warranty is not available – ie. there is no warranty without our engineers doing the commissioning and subsequent sign-off.
After each successful commissioning, a full report will be issued to evidence the initial operating set-up conditions and readings.
Please note that we ask that when planning your project, you give us at least four weeks’ notice when booking the visit of our commissioning engineer and that all necessary services are in place and working by that time – such as water and electricity. We will send a Pre-Commissioning Check List before each visit which we require to be fully completed prior to attendance. Please note that we will also try to be as flexible as possible as we understand that schedules on construction sites also tend to change at short notice.
