S-DW-I Double Walled with Immersion
The S-DW-I range of calorifiers is a ‘tank-in-tank’ style water storage tank. Hot water production takes place by the exchange of heat from the external, or primary, tank to the internal, or secondary tank, over the entire surface area. The heat source for the primary tank is heated by an external energy source – such as a Strebel S-CB range boiler.
Available in four sizes offering DHW storage of 196, 265, 433 and 712 litres the S-DW-I is manufactured from high grade stainless steel with a corrugated internal tank offering anti-scaling and anti-legionella benefit due to the totally uniform DHW storage temperature. The unit is supplied with an immersion heater (requires fitting on site) as standard with a thermometer, dual safety and control thermostat and is fully factory wired. The S-DW-I range is thermally insulated at point of manufacture by direct mould-injection with CFC and HCFC-free PU material of 40mm thickness.
Offering up to 1241 litres per hour at continuous output of 600C with a user friendly footprint the S-DW-I is an easy to install, user friendly and maintenance free solution for multiple commercial applications where on-demand hot water is required – such as leisure centres, hospitals, hotels and schools.
